Congratulations to Steve Brandenburg for bringing home the 150 lb state title on Saturday night at the IHSAA State Wrestling Tournament! All of our wrestlers, coaches, and cheerleaders represented LM well this past weekend in DM.

We will host a MS wrestling meet tomorrow (February 24th) at 4:15 pm in the HS gym. There are several teams attending, so it is easier for seating purposes and locker rooms if we use the HS gym. That will conclude our MS wrestling season.

Our MS girls basketball teams will travel to North Iowa tonight for their game at 4:15 pm and then to Northwood on Thursday for their final game of the season.

On Wednesday, our varsity girls basketball team will travel to Mason City HS for their 1A Regional Final game against Bishop Garrigan. The doors will open at 6 pm and the game will begin at 7 pm. This is post-season, so no signs, noisemakers, etc. are allowed. No backpacks or outside food or drinks are allowed either.

Tickets need to be purchased on Bound (https://www.gobound.com/ia/schools/lakemills/tickets). Please consider buying them ahead of time; the line moves much faster at the gate if their workers are just scanning. They will have card readers at the gate if needed. Reminder – Only IHSAA/IGHSAU admin passes will be accepted. Concessions will be available for card or cash.

Please park in the east athletic facility lot and enter through the main doors to the athletic facility. Our fans will sit on the north side of the bleachers behind the scoretable, and our student section will be in the NE corner of the bleachers.
