Welcome to our school!
The public school system has been an important part of the Lake Mills, Scarville, and Joice communities from their beginnings. The Lake Mills Community School is one campus that houses the elementary, middle, and high school. The district prides itself in providing students with exciting learning opportunities that expand their connection to others locally and across the nation. Students at Lake Mills Community School benefit from small class sizes, one-to-one access to technology, and faculty who are focused on growth. We are so excited to offer our communities a school where our collective effort focuses on teaching and learning for all.
The results are IN! 🏆 Our decorators brought their A-game this year, but a few stood out from the crowd in the Cake Decorating Contest. Check out our 2025 winners:

Get ready for an exciting night because Tuesday, December 19, 2025 is our Big Concert Day! We have two fantastic performances scheduled, featuring students from 2nd through 6th grade.

Featuring: Our dedicated 5th and 6th-grade instrumentalists and vocalists!
🎄 2nd & 3rd Grade Holiday Concert

Featuring: Performances from our energetic 2nd and 3rd graders!

Mrs. Knudtson’s 2nd graders had the ultimate surprise today (along with all of our elementary classes during WIN) when Caleb Bacon walked through the door as our Mystery Reader! From the football field to the classroom, Caleb showed our students that reading is just as important as a big tackle.
The kids looked amazing in their red gear, and the smiles says it all. A huge thank you to Caleb for taking the time to inspire our little Bulldogs!💛 ❤️📚
