Welcome to our school!
The public school system has been an important part of the Lake Mills, Scarville, and Joice communities from their beginnings. The Lake Mills Community School is one campus that houses the elementary, middle, and high school. The district prides itself in providing students with exciting learning opportunities that expand their connection to others locally and across the nation. Students at Lake Mills Community School benefit from small class sizes, one-to-one access to technology, and faculty who are focused on growth. We are so excited to offer our communities a school where our collective effort focuses on teaching and learning for all.

Looking to add some green to your life? This Saturday, the Lake Mills FFA greenhouse is opening its doors for a plant sale! 🪴
We have a limited selection of plants this year, so you’ll want to get here early before they’re gone. If we have any survivors, we’ll announce additional dates—but don't count on it!

📍 Where: LMCS Greenhouse

Meet Josiah, better known as Joey or Big Guns! A powerhouse athlete and a dedicated teammate, Josiah has left it all on the field, the mat, and the track over the last four years.

Congratulations to Mrs. Holtan's 5th grade students, Gracie Roder and Lyndsey Oldenkamp, for representing Lake Mills at the Heartland Honor Band in Carroll! A big shoutout to Mr. Sletten for directing the 6th-grade band. 🎵
We also had the chance to visit a special spot—a bench dedicated to Mrs. Budach’s sister, Jill. It was a wonderful way to honor a legacy while celebrating the future of music! 🐾❤️

Whether you know her as Hailey Jo, Jo Jo, or Hails, there is no doubt she stays busy! Between her classes and her dedicated work as a CNA, Hailey has been a vital part of the Lake Mills community.
School Spirit: Volleyball player and manager for both Track and Girls Wrestling! 🏐🤼♀️

The Crew: Her parents, three siblings, and her beloved dogs: Diesel, Mikey, and Coco. 🐾
Offline Life: You can find her reading or catching some downtime at home after a shift at work.
What’s Next? With her experience already growing as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Hailey is well on her way to a bright future in healthcare! 🩺✨

We distribute food on Thursday afternoons, based on orders submitted via an online link. The available food items will vary throughout the year, depending on the current stock in the pantry.
