🎈BALLOONS OVER BROADWAY🎈
by 2nd Grade

Our 2nd graders brought their very own balloon designs to our hallways. After reading the book "Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade," they created their animal balloons. Tuesday morning, these colorful creations, along with their balloon handlers, paraded up and down our hallways. Happy Thanksgiving!

📚 Reading for a Reason! 🎁

We are so incredibly proud of our amazing first grade students! 🤩

These compassionate young readers took their love for books and turned it into an act of generosity. They worked hard to raise money through reading to support a fantastic cause!
Earlier this week, they took their earned funds ($1,777) to Singelstad Hardware and had the special job of purchasing brand-new toys for the Toys for Tots program! What a wonderful lesson in community and giving back.

Thank you to Singelstad Do It Best Hardware & Rentalfor helping our students with their mission and to all who supported the Read-a-thon!

Giving back looks good on you, First Grade! ❤️

Welcome to our school!

The public school system has been an important part of the Lake Mills, Scarville, and Joice communities from their beginnings. The Lake Mills Community School is one campus that houses the elementary, middle, and high school. The district prides itself in providing students with exciting learning opportunities that expand their connection to others locally and across the nation. Students at Lake Mills Community School benefit from small class sizes, one-to-one access to technology, and faculty who are focused on growth. We are so excited to offer our communities a school where our collective effort focuses on teaching and learning for all.
