HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS MEMBERS TRAVEL TO NEW YORK CITY 🗽
Several Lake Mills High School Chorus members and their families traveled to New York City over Spring
Break this year. Juniors and Seniors, along with their families, were eligible to go on the trip, which is
planned to be a biennial event.
The group traveled with the educational tour company, Gerber Tours, based in New York City. The
students participated in Broadway workshops with professionals in the industry, learning all about the
ways of Broadway. Refining their singing, choreography, and stage combat techniques with these
professionals was a highlight of the trip. The group also visited and learned about the Statue of Liberty,
Ellis Island, the Empire State Building, Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Radio City Music
Hall, Rockefeller Center, the Brooklyn Bridge, and more. Attending performances of the musicals,
