Fifth grade is a transition year for students as it is their last year in elementary school. One of the main goals of the fifth grade team is to prepare students for middle school and beyond by emphasizing respect and responsibility. Students can look forward to a variety of literature experiences, studying Iowa history complete with a field trip to Living History Farms, and participating in the DARE program.
